pilates workshops

Pregnancy

These are bi-monthly, two hour sessions that aim to cover the key elements of Pilates, such as releasing tension, breathing effectively, developing awareness of the deep postural muscles and joint actions and some strengthening work too . Class sizes are small (no more than 9) so focussed attention is guaranteed, making the sessions suitable for a range of different needs, for example:

  • If you can't make regular classes, they are an ideal way to get your Pilates fix.
  • They provide an opportunity to work on areas you may find challenging in a larger class environment.
  • You could use the workshop to dip your toe in to see if regular Pilates classes would work for you, provided you have no ongoing acute back problems. If you are new to Pilates call me to discuss this option.

The venue for these Workshops is the Nucleus Studio, Chesterford Research Park: a beautiful, well equipped studio, a start of the art gym, and a spectacular cafeteria, overlooking rolling parkland, should you wish to arrive earlier or stay after.

Sessions are held on a Friday from 10am until 12 noon.
